Using a fine natural mineral crystal technology, crystals are propelled over the skin surface with a precision pen-like hand piece. Dead cells are vacuumed into a container for disposal. By stimulating healthy cell regeneration your skin will look smoother, brighter, and younger by reducing fine lines, refining pore size, and minimizing skin imperfections.
All microdermabrasion treatments include consultation, skin analysis, disposable implements, cleansing, serum, moisturizers and sun protection. Book a complimentary jane iredale Mineral Makeup sun care application when booking.

How many Microdermabrasion treatments are needed?
Microdermabrasion treatments are meant to be progressive. Even though your skin will appear fresher after the first treatment, noticeable results are more apparent after the third. We recommend having treatments in a series, every 7-10 days.
Our skin creates a new layer every 28 days. This cell “turn over” slows down as we age. New cells pushing their way to the surface and dead cells settled on the surface can cause enlarged pores, clogged pores, an uneven texture, and a dull skin appearance.
How does Microdermabrasion work?
Microdermabrasion exfoliates 20 – 25 microns of dead skin cells from the outer most layer of the skin, revealing a fresher, younger skin equal to three 30% glycolic peels or one 70% peel. At Beverly’s, the treatment is divided into three stages to ensure optimal results: we pass over the areas being treated up to three times.
Who can benefit from Microdermabrasion?
Men and women of any skin type or colour. Aging skin, flaky, dry, devitalized, thickened, uneven in tone or texture can all removed by microdermabrasion.
Pre Treatment Care:
You should be in good health. To avoid cold sores from spreading, you should wait until completely healed. If you have severe rosacea, skin cancer, inflamed acne, Accutane, or any auto immune concerns, then you should avoid the treatment. Retin A or any skin care products that irritate the skin should be stopped for at least 2-3 days before treatment, and not restarted until 3 days after.
After Treatment Care:
Often referred to as a “Lunch Time Peel”, the treatment is not uncomfortable, and there is no healing time. Skin may peel or flake as the cell renewal process is stimulated. We recommend the correct exfoliant to use between treatments. Avoid intense exercise where perspiration is created to avoid a stinging sensation. Do not tan in sun beds for 2 weeks after the treatment.
Plan injectables, such as Botox, collagen or Restalyne 2 – 5 days after a treatment.
